Dear Sister or Brother in Christ!
I am so excited about what God is doing in the Body of Christ and especially what He is doing in my church. It is so exciting to see the move of God in the ministry that I and my family have been blessed to be in.
Right now we are transitioning into a new 10,000 square-foot facility after seven years, the time our ministry began. And, I want to invite you to plant a seed into our ministry by giving to our Transition Fund. We are raising $15,000 as our short-term goal. We believe that your blessing to this ministry will cause great blessing to your household. The Bible reads in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.“
Over a seven-year period, we have passed out 48,000 Bibles, fed an average of 3 times per week, fed hundreds of Thanksgiving dinners, helped those in need to provide gifts to their children at Christmas, reached out to the community for back-to-school events, and more. As you sow into this ministry, you are helping us to help those who are sick, feed those who are hungry, clothe the naked, find Refuge to those who are lost and overlooked, while we bring the Gospel to our community and everywhere that God sends us. “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.“ (2 Corinthians 9:10). Your immediate seed will help us transition into our new larger facility as we get ready to fulfil all that GOD has called us to do.
We would also like to invite you to our Dedication Services that will take place on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 11:00am and 3:00pm. We have invited Unity Spirit Missionary Baptist Church and their pastors, Pastor Stephen Phillips and Dr. C. C. Phillips of Houston, TX, to worship with us and bring the messages. On that day, we would also like to honor all of those who have sown into us. Your seed will be given special recognition on that day because we believe in giving honor where honor is due. We hope to give you special honor on our special day.
